Bartender

Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. They verify the identification and age of customers, prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, accept payment from customers, clean glasses and bar utensils and balance cash receipts to record sales. A quality Bartender candidate is knowledgeable about mixology and is capable of mixing traditional drinks as well as crafting creative cocktails. Successful Bartenders increase customer retention and loyalty by mixing and serving quality cocktails with impeccable customer service.

Server

If you are a student or prospective student who needs to earn cash, we're looking for a motivated Server to join our team. We operate an upscale Southern Cuisine restaurant in the North downtown Omaha and we need waitstaff with prior serving experience to provide excellent, timely service to our patrons. Our servers work short shifts (typically 5 hours), which allows you to schedule your shifts around school/studying obligations. In return, we ask you to arrive on time, always smile for our customers, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner. To excel in this position, you need a high level of customer service skill and a willingness to meet guests' needs quickly and politely.

General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager leads the operation of the restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, hiring, termination and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing the restaurant team members.

  • Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.

  • Recruits, interviews, and hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivates and trains.

  • Has authority to hire and terminate (or participate in those decisions) with approval/partnership from Human Resources.

  • Ensures that the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to.

  • Ensures that the restaurant is in compliance with the preventative maintenance program with regards to facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.

  • Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.

  • Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.

  • Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs.


Line Cook

Our busy Southern Cuisine restaurant is looking for a professional Line Cook who can help prepare meals as per our standard recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating meal portions, cleaning food, cooking meals and keeping a sanitized work area. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the food service industry and is committed to impeccable food presentation and garnishing, which is important for impressing our guests and creating repeat business.

Prep Cook

Our popular Southern Cuisine restaurant is looking for a Prep Cook to help out the lead cook and other kitchen staff in order to meet the rising demand in our dining rooms. The Prep Cook will be responsible for taking an ongoing inventory of ingredients to ensure nothing is running low, cutting up vegetables, preparing side dishes and getting salads ready for special events and regular dining hours. If you have previous kitchen experience in a resort setting, we want to hear from you.
